Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of rantavo.com and the Rantavo API (together, the "Service"), operated by Powerzam Studio ("Rantavo", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What Rantavo is

Rantavo helps you compare what a job offer in another country is worth after income tax, social contributions, cost of living, and purchasing power. Every figure the Service produces - tax calculations, cost-of-living estimates, purchasing-power comparisons, AI-generated talking points, and negotiation reports - is a modelled estimate for decision support only. It is not tax, financial, legal, immigration, or professional advice of any kind, and it does not account for every rule, deduction, treaty, or personal circumstance that could apply to you. Verify anything material with a qualified professional, your employer, or the relevant government agency before acting on it.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account or subscribe to pro. The core comparison tool does not require an account. If you do create one, you're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Free tier and pro subscriptions

Rantavo offers a free tier and a paid pro tier with expanded limits (such as saved comparisons, multi-city comparisons, AI deep-dive questions, and negotiation reports). We may change what's included in each tier, and any usage limits, at any time - including limits that are currently more generous than intended while we're still tuning them based on real usage.

pro subscriptions are billed and processed by our merchant of record, Creem, on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the confirmation email Creem sends you, Creem's customer portal, or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current billing period. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.

Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

scrape, systematically extract, or reverse-engineer our tax models, cost-of-living data, or API to build a competing product;

attempt to bypass usage limits, tier restrictions, or authentication;

use the AI deep-dive assistant to generate content unrelated to relocation decision-support, or in a way that violates law or another person's rights;

interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to access data that isn't yours, including another user's saved comparisons or reports.

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.

Share links

If you generate a share link for a comparison, anyone with that link can view it. You're responsible for who you share it with. Don't use share links to distribute someone else's personal financial information without their consent.

AI-generated content

The AI deep-dive assistant and negotiation reports are generated by a third-party AI model based on your comparison data. AI output can be incomplete, generic, or wrong. It is provided as a starting point for your own research and negotiation preparation, not as a substitute for professional advice or your own judgment.

Your content

You retain ownership of the salary, location, and personal data you enter into Rantavo. By using the Service, you grant us the license needed to process that data solely to provide the comparison, report, and AI features you request - see our Privacy Policy for details on how that data is stored and shared.

Intellectual property

The Rantavo name, branding, tax-modelling logic, and site design belong to Powerzam Studio. You may use the Service for your own personal relocation decisions; you may not copy, resell, or repurpose the Service or its underlying models as your own product.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that calculations are error-free, that reference data (tax brackets, cost of living, exchange rates, purchasing power) is fully current, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure. Data is refreshed on a defined schedule and may lag real-world changes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rantavo and Powerzam Studio are not liable for any decision you make based on the Service's output - including accepting or declining a job offer, a relocation, or a salary negotiation outcome - or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at our discretion, with notice where reasonably possible.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
